Terms of use
Last updated 20 October 2026
These terms apply when you use the Duebird app and website, operated by Duebird in Singapore (“we”, “us”). By creating an account you agree to them. Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal data.
Who can use Duebird
- Parents and guardians, who may add their children to their account.
- Students who have reached the minimum age for their country (13 in Singapore), using Duebird on their own.
Children below that age may use Duebird only through a parent’s or guardian’s account. If you add a child, you confirm that you are their parent or guardian and you are responsible for their use of the app.
Your account
- Keep your sign-in details and your child-mode PIN to yourself.
- Remove any device you no longer control, such as a lost phone, from your account straight away.
- Give accurate information, including a correct birth month and year for students.
Reminders are a help, not a guarantee
Reminders depend on your device, its notification settings and network services that we don’t control. Duebird can help you keep track of homework and exams, but it can’t guarantee that every reminder arrives on time. Please don’t rely on it as your only record of important deadlines.
Acceptable use
Don’t use Duebird to:
- access or try to access another family’s information;
- interfere with the service, test its security without permission, or overload it;
- store content that is unlawful or harmful.
We may suspend accounts that break these rules.
Your content
The homework, exams and other information you add belong to you. You allow us to store and process them only to provide the service to you.
Subscriptions
- Duebird Plus is sold through the App Store or Google Play. Billing, renewals and refunds follow their rules.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting your Duebird account does not cancel a subscription.
- We will tell you in the app before any price change applies to you.
Changes and availability
We work to keep Duebird available and reliable, but we may need to change features or pause the service, for example for maintenance. If we ever stop offering Duebird, we will give notice in the app and a way to get a copy of your information.
Ending your use
You can stop using Duebird and delete your account at any time. We may close accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these terms.
Liability
Duebird is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, or for missed homework or exams, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us for Duebird in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have that cannot be limited by law.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a way that affects you, we will tell you in the app before the change takes effect.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore.
